A suspect is in custody after a deadly July 4 parade shooting in a wealthy Chicago suburb. Police say at least six people are dead, and dozens injured.
Another 4th of July shooting, this one in Philadelphia. Two officers were shot and are in stable condition after being released from the hospital. No arrests have been made yet.
Boston’s traditional Independence Day celebration made its return on July 4. The event featured a grand parade and a reading of the Declaration of Independence.
